Khloe Kardashian Reveals Where Her Relationship With Tristan Thompson Really Stands
Khloe Kardashian is staying focused on herself.
Over three years after The Kardashians star and ex Tristan Thompson—who share kids True, 6, and Tatum, 2—broke up, she detailed where the former couple stand, saying on the Jan. 22 episode of her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast that they “co-parent really well.”
But while Khloe has expressed that her and Tristan’s romantic chapter is closed, she has no plans to put herself back out in the dating world.
“I’ve chosen not to—because I genuinely don’t want to—I’m not dating,” she explained to her guest Jay Shetty. “My relationship with my kids just is everything to me.”
The 40-year-old emphasized that she didn’t mean it as a blanket statement for any single parents, but added, “Where I am in my life right now, I just really want to nurture this love and I just want to be as present as I can. I don’t want any distractions in my life.”
That said, the Good American founder isn’t planning on spending the rest of her life without romance.
“If I meet someone in two months, two years and I fall in love—great,” she noted. “But I’m not actively on the dating scene searching for someone and I’m so happy. I feel so fulfilled. I also love that I’ve taken about three years off of dating, and I feel like I really got to know myself on a deeper level.”
As for what she’s looking for? Khloe emphasized, “The right one that I would want to be around my children and around my family.”
This isn’t the first time of late that Khloe has made it clear she is firmly off the market.
“I’ve been single for about three years and love it—I really, really do,” Khloe told Bustle in a profile published Dec. 3. “I feel like I’m working on myself so much and am getting to such a good place that I just don’t want something to disrupt it.”
But Khloe’s focus on herself isn’t the only reason dating is off putting to her at the moment.
“I just can’t imagine I would bring a man that I’m dating around my kids, so then where do I go to date you?,” she posited. “I’m not going to a restaurant where there’s paparazzi and everyone’s going to say we’re getting married next week.”
