Benny Blanco Reacts to Selena Gomez Wedding Date Rumors

Amid speculation that the “Same Old Love” singer and the record producer—who announced their engagement in December—will soon tie the knot, Benny revealed they haven’t set a date just yet. In fact, the songwriter sent a message to pal Ed Sheeran, who recently teased an invite to the nuptials.
"Eventually Ed will come to our wedding when we do have one," Benny—who cowrote "Don't" and several other of the Grammy winner's songs—said on the June 4 episode of Australia's Today show, "but unfortunately, we have not scheduled one yet. But we will."
Benny’s latest comments echo his previous sentiments about the couple’s wedding plans.
"We’re very much 'take it one day at a time'-type of people," he told Rolling Stone in an interview published in March. "We’re still not over this moment."
Selena and Benny revealed their engagement in December. The 37-year-old popped the question to the "Come and Get It" singer, 32, during a romantic Taco Bell picnic on a soundstage. Benny proposed with a marquise-cut diamond engagement ring that seemingly pays homage to the Rare Beauty founder's hit tune "Good for You."
Months later, Selena and Benny played down speculation they were rushing to plan their wedding.
"We’re very much 'take it one day at a time'-type of people," he told Rolling Stone. "We’re still not over this moment."
