Selena Gomez and Fiancé Benny Blanco Celebrate Passover Seder and Perform Their Track 'Bluest Flame' Karaoke Style!
Selena Gomez and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, are getting into the holiday spirit!
The pair celebrated Passover Seder on Sunday, April 20, marking the end of the Jewish holiday with friends and family.
Cookbook author Jake Cohen shared a carousel of snaps and videos of the fun-looking celebrations on Instagram on Monday, April 21. These included the Only Murders in the Building star, 32, cozied up with Blanco, 37, the pair singing along to their tune “Bluest Flame,” and the music producer on the DJ decks.
Foodie Cohen had captioned the images, which also included traditional challah bread shaped into “4 / 20” to mark the date of the celebration, April 20, “Later Seder 2025 xoxo The Jewish Joy Boys.”
Gomez and Blanco dropped their album I Said I Love You First on March 21 and previewed the track "Bluest Flame" during a surprise appearance at the A24 x IMAX screening of Spring Breakers in New York City on March 19.
Ahead of the release of I Said I Love You First, the couple did an interview with Rolling Stone, in which Gomez revealed how Blanco helped her connect with music again. Prior to that, Gomez's last full-length album was 2020's Rare, and she told the outlet in the March interview that the reason for her musical hiatus was being "very frustrated and kind of confused on where I wanted to go next musically."
"And we had been together for a while, and obviously I would confide in him. I couldn’t figure out my sound," Gomez recalled of Blanco, who proposed in December 2024. "It helps that he knows a little bit about music, and it kind of happened organically to where I felt like this process was unlike any other process I’d ever been through," she said of creating the album.
Blanco added that they kept the project "really close to [their] chest[s]."
And it seems Gomez had influenced Blanco’s music choices too, with the music producer admitting during a March interview on Hot Ones that she turned him into a Swiftie!
