Fans have been gushing over Serena Gomez’s engagement to Benny Blanco since the couple announced their plans for marriage in December. The couple began dating in 2023, after they began collaborating on an album together.
“Forever begins now,” Gomez wrote on an Instagram post, featuring a photo of the giant marquise-shaped diamond ring.
Since their engagement, they have endured a strong start to 2025.
The pair, who are quickly becoming one of Hollywood’s favourite couples, dazzled together at the Golden Globes in January, and in March, they set hearts racing again as they were seen together at the Oscars - with Gomez stealing the show with her bejewelled golden dress.

The seeds were sown for Gomez and Blanco’s relationship a decade ago, when the pair collaborated on Gomez’s album Revival in 2015.
Things remained friendly until 2023, when Gomez confirmed that the two were dating. "He is my absolute everything in my heart," she commented on a photo of the couple shared by a fan account on Instagram.

In September 2014, they got back together, but were believed to have broken up again the following month. The reason for the split is not known, however speculation arose around infidelity on the Baby hitmaker’s part after photos emerged of Bieber and Kendall Jenner in Paris.
The couple are believed to have reunited again in October 2017, before breaking up again in March 2018.
