Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco Share Update on Their Wedding Plans

Selena Gomez can’t calm down about her upcoming wedding.

In fact, her fiancé Benny Blanco shared that the Only Murders in the Building star is constantly coming up with new ideas for their nuptials, telling Rolling Stone in an interview published March 17, "I think every day she’s planned a new wedding in her head."

But that doesn’t mean Selena and Benny will be walking down the aisle anytime soon. After all, they’ve been working on an LP together, titled, I Said I Love You First, which is set to be released March 21. And the pair believes it's the perfect time to create music together and put their love on display.

"I genuinely feel like this is such a special time that we get to apply it to this album and really just pour our heart into it, and completely translate what we feel and bring it to the world," Selena said in the joint interview.  "That’s my main focus right now, at least."

Benny, 37, also noted that he and the SAG Award winner are still taking in the excitement of the engagement.

"We’re very much 'take it one day at a time'-type of people. We’re still not over this moment," he said. "Literally, while you were talking, she was sitting there staring at her ring."

And Benny's proposal was certainly an unforgettable moment. The producer made headlines back in December when he got down on one knew surrounded by a Taco Bell picnic.

Plus, amid his plans to pop the question, the couple was busy collaborating in their in-home recording studio.

"That’s the most intimate I’ve ever been in a studio,” Selena, 32, shared. "We did everything from home, and we created it with people that we love.”

And their intimate time spent recording allowed Selena to make music she’s really proud of with I Said I Love You First.

"This whole project embodies his stories combined with my stories. They have meanings that are really just personal to both of us. So one song could actually mean two different things. And I think it was just really cute," Selena said, before admitting, "But, yeah, guilty as charged. I said 'I love you' first."
