Khloe Kardashian Slams Intrusive, Sexual Questions She’s Been Asked
Khloe Kardashian believes in setting firm boundaries.
And part of that mentality stems from her early years of fame, where the Kardashians star recalled often fielding questions she would now deem invasive and inappropriate.
“I remember when we started being on TV when I was 21 or 22,” Khloe told guest Remi Bader on a March 26 episode of her podcast Khloe in Wonder Land. “I remember the questions people would ask, and it was a different time then too, they would ask such intrusive questions.”
While she did answer the uncomfortable question at the time—chalking it up to being young and less experienced with the media—the reality star now questions why some people felt it was okay to violate her privacy with such confidence.
“Now, when I see old clips of myself,” she continued, “I’m like, ‘The audacity that even that adult thinks I should answer that.’”
“It could be a sexual thing,” she added. “It doesn’t even mean I’m doing that thing. I just don’t think that’s for you to even have out there—if I am or if I’m not.”
In recent years, Khloe—who shares kids True, 6, and Tatum, 2, with ex Tristan Thompson—has become more comfortable keeping certain parts of her life out of the spotlight.
“The older you get or the more wisdom you get,” she noted, “you do set those boundaries for yourself.”
But just because she doesn’t feel the need to share everything in her life, that doesn’t mean the 40-year-old doesn’t provide the occasional glimpse into her family drama—and even her sex life. Indeed, Khloe recently recounted an awkward situation involving her mom Kris Jenner during a childhood game of hide and seek.
"I believe I was under the bed one time when you and your ex-husband were trying [to get pregnant]," Khloe said to Kris on a recent episode of her podcast. "I still go to therapy over that."
Remembering that she had fallen asleep under her mom’s bed after nobody found her during the game, Khloe recalled being woken up by some “gross” noises. And upon hearing her daughter’s confession, the momager—who ais also mom to Kim Kardashian, 44, and Rob Kardashian, 38, with late ex Robert Kardashian, as well as Kendall Jenner, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 27, with ex Caitlyn Jenner—showed no remorse.
"You were hiding under my bed and you didn't get caught," Kris responded. "You decided to stay there, because it sounded exciting and you got an earful and you being tortured for the rest of your life is exactly what you deserved."
She added with a laugh, "Those sounds will never leave you."
