Did Kourtney Kardashian Almost Quit The Kardashians? Khloe Kardashian Says…
Kourtney Kardashian isn’t done yet.
As The Kardashians continues to air its sixth season, Khloe Kardashian addressed her older sister’s near-retirement from the series, and how Kim Kardashian convinced Kourtney to stay on board.
“I was terrified for Kim to even have that conversation with her,” Khloe explained to E! News’ Justin Sylvester in an exclusive interview. “You're gonna have to watch the season. It was not my doing and I think I was a little baby and I wasn’t involved for that because somehow I’m always in the middle of them. I’m like, ‘I don’t have a dog in this fight, I’m good.’”
And while Kourtney and Kim’s rift nearly kept Kourtney—who shares kids Mason, 15, Penelope, 12, Reign, 10, with ex Scott Disick as well as baby Rocky, 15 months with Travis Barker—from continuing on with the show, they were able to work it out.
As Khloe put it, “I think it was all Kim—I don’t think I had anything to do with it. I think I was a baby and hid.” (For more from Khloe, tune in to E! News tonight, Feb. 10, at 11 p.m.)
As for how the Kardashian sisters—which also, of course, includes Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner—continue to work out their disagreements?
“We call each other sweepers,” Khloe added. “We sweep everything under the rug. When we’re done with that fight we sort of don’t talk about it again. I think that’s probably why it boils back over later—because we’ve never worked through anything.”
Of course, Kourtney has previously assured that any disagreement with Kim—who shares kids North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5, with ex Kanye West—doesn’t go that deep.
“We’re sisters,” Kourtney shared in a confessional during the last season of The Kardashians. “I think people forget. They always say like, 'How are they gonna get through it?' and they pick sides. Everyone gets really riled up.”
Indeed, Kourtney and Kim’s supposed beef isn’t the only thing that Kardashians fans have blown out of proportion. Khloe recently shut down longstanding rumors about her and Kourtney’s ex Scott on her Khloe in Wonder Land podcast, which airs every Wednesday exclusively on X, available on all platforms Thursdays.
In response to fans questioning any potential romance between the pals, Khloe responded with a simple, “No.”
Meanwhile, Scott slammed the idea.
“Like, bro,” he said on the Jan. 8 episode. “I have children with her sister. We’re not soulmates. Obviously, I say a lot of gross things that are probably too much, but that’s just who I am. I’m not serious.”
